a glimpse of us
the gathering room is an event space created to provide a place to celebrate life and to make memories.
we've featured some of the wonderful elements of the original building. the metal ceiling tiles, exposed brick wall, high ceilings have been restored. we have updated the space with a handicap accessible entrance and handicap bathroom, large screen tv, kitchen facilities for serving meals, table seating for 72, and dimmable lighting to set a comfortable atmosphere for a variety of event types.
our downtown location makes it convenient for lunch meetings, office parties, and daytime conferences. we're also available for evening events and weekend gatherings.
our desire in restoring and providing this historic location for the public is to help build relationships, strengthening families and friends, and support our downtown business district. we believe in investing in heber springs, ar.

the rental at a glance
a look at our begining
we have been involved in numerous restoration projects over the years. when the buildings along west main street became available we saw an opportunity from God. it was a chance to honor the history of our city and it's founders while enhancing the downtown business district.
in 2014 citygate ministries purchased and remodeled the former rexall drugstore at 401 west main street for our church building. this structure was built the same year as our downtown cleburne county courthouse in 1906. when the former grocery store, at 415 west main, came up for sale we knew we wanted to provide our community with a place to gather. we want to help celebrate milestones, create memories, honor accomplishments, and build community.
our pastors have been involved in restoring families and buildings since 1987. they entered into ministry in dallas, tx. having a background in construction before college has brought many opportunities to serve as ministers while building in each community God has sent them to. they started citygate ministries in 2013. our church is employing our hearts and hands to extend help and restore hope to individuals and families in this land of opportunity, the state of arkansas.
